Ninety five years give so much, and during all this time the company Partida Logistics has become a specialized organization in the customs procedures and logistics support of goods transported by container or truck. The logistics company has renewed the certification that credits it as Authorized Economic Operator (OEA). “With Algeciras being the undisputed leader of the Spanish port system, the establishment of the largest shipping companies of the world and, the geographical proximity with the North of Africa, particularly with Morocco, we saw a magnificent opportunity of growth, and for this reason we have been adjusting our structure and means·, highlights Álvaro Partida, commercial director of the company, with whom we have talked to know the services offered by the company.
– Which are the services offered by Partida Logistics to exporters and importers?
Our services go from the fiscal representation before Customs, the advice in the subject of documentation, commercial invoices, request of health controls, we coordinate the carriage, transfer of goods, service of cold storage, transport to destination and, above all, processing of customs clearance under import regime, export and transit. We are investing in two basic pillars, technology and training, aiming at minimizing the error margin. Pushed by the schedules of the current logistics,
the work in PARTIDA does not stop. We work all days of the year, in turns of morning, afternoon and night, and already are 110 people distributed in the office, PIF (Border Inspection Point) and in the delegation of the Port of Motril”.
– Has the bet on the OEA certification served to consolidate or attract new customers?
No doubt, customers look for trusted collaborators that facilitate and speed up the customs procedures. This basically for them means less time, lower number of physical and documentary controls, facilities for benefiting from simplified customs procedures and have centralized customs clearance. Currently we have the capacity to be able to dispatch before any Customs in Spain which meets the needs of our customers.
– What improvements have they brought in your work?
Since we got the certificate up to now all revolves around in order to maintain the quality and safety standards. We train our staff so that they are aware of the importance to continue with the procedures adequately and to report immediately any type of incidence for its corresponding registry and retrieval. It has brought us a degree of professionalism and security that differentiate us from the rest face to the public and the Administration, that appreciates considerably our control management of the customs and logistics procedures.
– Why customers choose PARTIDA? Which is the philosophy of the company?
Constant communication and internal coordination. We have been working for 95 years and we have numerous customers and friends, that have been with us for 40 or 45 years. This philosophy of work is the one we continue to internally inculcate to our staff. Advise customers and jointly work from the beginning to reach a perfect symbiosis.
